Single Origin Chocolate

Like wine and coffee, the flavour of chocolate is greatly determined by the environment Screen Shot 2015-06-09 at 10.25.53 AMin which the cacao is grown.

Blending cacao beans from one location to produce chocolate with distinct flavour profiles is actually a traditional concept, made new by a fresh generation of artisan chocolatiers.

We’re proud to offer a variety of Single Origin chocolate, made from a limited quantity of cacao, harvested exclusively from a single country, such as Venezuela, Mexico, Tanzania and São Tomé.  Cacao content for these unique bars typically ranges from 66% to 76%.   On the label of each bar, we’ve provided a tasting guide: consider them tour guides in your global cacao explorations.

We offer them as single bars and also in packages of all six Single Origins.
